I typically work
birthday parties and family events as Marzipan the Magnificent, an ancient magical clown whose absurd sense of play and phenomenal
sleight of hand entertain and enthrall audiences of all ages. Marzipan the Magnificent is a character inspired by my grandfather,
whose remarkable ability to create wonder made me fall in love with magic as a child. Marzipan is magical, theatrical
and eccentric. In the wonderful imagination of a child, he is everything a magician should be. For school, park
and library events where the children are of a wide age range or are slightly older, I often perform as myself in a classy
dinner tuxedo.

package Marzipan will play the host at your party, answering the door and greeting guests as they arrive. Marzipan will then
perform a 35 minute magic show, complete with audience participation, lots
of laughs, and a wonderful skunk puppet. For the finale of the show, Marzipan will perform his Chair Suspension
Illusion in which the birthday child floats in mid-air! This is a
fantastic photo opportunity and will give your child something he or she will not forget. *Please Note: There is a 95 pound
weight limit for the Chair Suspension Illusion. After the show, Marzipan typically stays at the
party for about half an hour, clowning around and performing close-up magic for the party guests.
