Magic. What is it? I think we all know the answer to that. Sometimes we look at it as the impossible, or something that appears out of nowhere, sort of like a miracle. Magic, though, is different because we aren't expecting it. Miracles are something we are hoping for, or perhaps we have even thought about for a long time, but magic is different; it just appears. This is what made me desire with all my heart to be a magician, just like my grandfather.

What is the definition of a magician? It has been said in the simplest of terms that a magician is one who performs tricks in the presence of an audience. I think it could be more than that really; I think of it more as to thrill and delight an audience and get their attention in a way like no one else can. Growing up with magic made me love the thought of performing even more. I wanted everyone to see magic the way I did, and knew that unless I learned it the way my grandfather did that it would never happen.

Being a world-class performer is nice, and I am thankful that I am highly regarded; however nothing is as rewarding as being able to perform magic and do it in front of thousands if not millions. Live entertainment is just a blip on the radar screen for me when it comes to performing magic; nothing speaks to my heart more than being a true magician and calling it my career. Performing worldwide has given me the chance to share my love of magic with those who attended, but it doesn't stop there.

By being a magician I not only have the opportunity to perform around the country, but have the opportunity to entertain privately. Nothing gives me more pleasure than being up close and personal with those who love magic just as much as I do. The very idea that someone would invite me to entertain for their crowd, and enjoy my performances with their loved ones and colleagues makes me happy. Whether it's a corporate event, a private party, or even a trade show it doesn't matter; I absolutely love what I do. I have a passion for magic and that is why I enjoy it so much. Can you imagine loving what you do so much that you never get tired of it?

There are so many tricks and illusions that I have come to learn over the years and training to be a magician taught me that you never get too old to learn or impress someone. Some say that is the kid in me; that might be true but I am also an entertainer and that is where everything comes together. I was trained to be an actor, but between my love of magic and my training to become an actor I got the best of both worlds. My goal is to be the best magician ever, and to continue to please audiences for years to come.
